in love with the authentic Korea food here! thumb up for all the dishes and making me feel like in Korea haha! some of the dishes are hardly seen in most of the Korea restaurant in SG! visited the place 2 times and they often have Korea fair or pop up market next to the food street.
The Korean Baekpan ($24.90) from Gogipan at Market Blue is a must try if you’re there! Love the display and scrumptious feeling you get when the food reaches you. It’s a huge tray of banchan that comes with a meat of your choice, kimchi stew and rice.
Had the hot plate pork and it was really flavourful and satisfying. The stew was all right; felt really basic but homely. This portion is supposedly for one pax but trust me, it can definitely feed two pax! Saw a lot of people ordering this and a side pancake to share, so you can do that if you’re pretty hungry.
Also ordered a candied soy chicken ($18) to share. It was not bad, but not particularly memorable either.
Was looking forward to the lifestyle section which promised of a ramyeon library that I read online but alas! The whole section was closed when I visited on a weekend.

Finally got to dine-in at this eatery. Been here for 3 times. Only the 3rd time managed to stuff myself for their gimbop or kimbap (my own knowing). My max cap is about 8 pieces. 10 pieces definitely exceed my own. However it was a good meal.
Firstly, their side dishes were more than 3 types. And it is freeflow, one need to go & get it by ownself. No limit, tot I didn't know. I was sitting nearby it.
Thks to the staff who helped me when I was collecting my order. She told me that there is a soup & also sauce type. Except my order for hot barely tea wasn't freeflow.
Prior to, it was the awaiting time about 20mins for my order to be ready. Cos not much crowds on that day. Cannot imagine what if at very crowded moment 😋
We ordered the Baekban set for 2. I was disappointed by the quality of the beef and the side dishes.
The set came with a kimchi/tomato stew which was flavourful but too overpowered by the saltiness of kimchi, as with the beef, it was rather cold, messy and inconsistent, with minced strips and large sheets mixed together in a pile, it was unappetising.
The menu was definitely more appealing than the real dish and for the price of $45, I don’t think it was worth the money
The side dishes were self service and was a bit stale.
I would come again for the other desserts and dishes but sadly the baekban set is a no for me.
visited during a special christmas market event so food options were diff frm the norm 😲
👉🏼Keto Gimbap (Bulgogi), $14.90

👉🏼Injeolmi Chewy Donut, $2.90
eeeek absolutely LOVE the thicc chewy mochi skin it’s soooo qq 🫦 injeolmi filling is really light! and cinnamon sugar coating is the cherry on top making it a yummy sweet treat 😋
👉🏼Bear Candy Apple (Chocolate), $12
uhm. thought itll b like tanghulu so it’s at least candied apple coated with chocolate but……. literally $12 for a med sized apple, 2 marshmallows, bits of nuts, and a layer of chocolate………………….. and that’s exactly what it tasted like 😀
there’s a whole bunch of korean vendors selling products frm food to clothes to skincare specially for this event 🤩 29nov to 3dec so why not drop by to go take a look ;)
🚨🚨 do check me out @yumnomss on ig and lemon8 xoxo! 😋
Good crispy chicken. For spicy version only local chillies sauce is given. The kimpab is good and firmly rolled. Each order come with 10pcs. Enough for a fulfilling healthy stomach. Prices range from $12.9 - $18.9.
Visited this place on 30 Aug 2023. I went there because of the frequent advertised Limited Edition Apple K-cream buns from Korea Bakery 1985 on Market Blue Instagram page.
The queue took me almost 2 hours from staying in the line since 10am to 11.30am and to queue for making payment from 11.30am to 12nn plus.
Do you know why the queue took so long?? The pop up stall is supposed to be ready and open at 10am but they were not ready at all and they made customers lined up for more than an hour so that they could take their own sweet time to unpack the buns, sort out the buns and to display the buns on the counters. I find this arrangement ridiculous and the organiser should improve in this area.
To be honest, I have been to several pop up events so I find this visit the worst experience so I don’t recommend to my friends.
Honest reviews on the buns: Every bun is too sweet
1. Apple K-cream bun - Bun looks good but it is tasteless, apple filling is little and cream is too sweet. Rating: 5/10
2. Sweet potato bun - Bun is made of mochi so it is chewy and nice and it’s filling taste just like the real sweet potato but it is too sweet. Rating: 8/10
3. Traditional red bean bun - Bun is in white colour with some black sesame seeds on top, it is filled with red bean paste with bits of lotus seeds and red beans. It taste good but the filling is overpowering so you will feel sick of it after a few mouths. Rating: 6/10
4. Red bean bun with cream - Bun is brown in colour, it is fragrant and light and it’s red bean filling is not bad but the cream is too sweet. Rating: 7/10
5. Garlic bun - Bun looks like garlic and it’s skin is made of mochi so it’s chewy and nice but it’s filling is filled with sweet garlic paste and it is disgusting after taking a few mouths. Rating: 4/10
6. Peanut Crumb Mochi bun - The nicest bun amongst all. The skin is topped with peanut crumbs and made it fragrant and it’s filling is mochi and red bean paste. Perfect combination. Rating: 8.5/10
7. Chilled mochi - Mochi skin is chewy and nice but it’s fillings are too sweet. Rating: 6/10
8. Chestnut bun - Skin is baked and topped with black sesame seeds which looks like a mooncake. It’s filling is chestnut paste which taste nice but too sweet after taking a few mouths. Rating: 6/10
9. Almond bean cookies - Taste fine but too sweet. Rating: 6/10
Overall rating for the buns and cookies: 3 stars
Overall rating for the service: 1 star (too slow and poor organising skills)
Overall rating for the Atmosphere: 3 stars
Many seats were available when we came for lunch. Staff were just standing in front of their stalls and didn't bother to assist. If it's your first time, you can just walk in and take any available seats, scan the QR code to order and pay. Felt that the set meal was quite limited as there was only 1 main dish for a set meal for 2 pax.
We had the pork bone soup set and bulgogi gimbap. The pork bone soup set came with a rice and 3 side dishes - kimchi, anchovies, and fish cake which we felt were average. The pork bone soup was good. The bulgogi gimbap was overrated, it was very dry and hard to swallow. The small soup that came with it tasted weird.
